Couple wed after car crash
A couple managed to exchange vows after a fiery car crash

ROXBURY, MA -- A fiery crash couldn't ruin a Boston couple's wedding day.

Darrel and Annie were headed to church to get married Saturday when their car suddenly burst into flames. To make matters worse, their car was going at a high rate-of-speed with no brakes.

The couple made the life-saving decision to jump from the moving car to safety.

Bride Annie Strother said with a laugh, "When he told me to jump, I jumped so high!"

Darrel Strother said, "Then she reminded me the rings - 'Where are the rings?' Oh, they're in the car still. Ohhh!'"

After firefighters put out the flames, they found the couple's rings -- and a police officer gave them a ride to the church.
