The donation was made by Bill and Sonia Florian, the previous owners of the Classical 97 radio station on 97.1 FM. It consists of more than 18,000 CDs, 5,000 albums and several hundred music books and directories for the benefit of the school's music program.

The International Baccalaureate program will also use the collection for research for their curriculum.

The library is now housed that the school.

"This donation of such an amazing library collection of classical music is such a blessing and an extraordinary gift from Bill and Sonia Florian," said Lise Gilly, Department Chair of Performing Arts, "and we are humbled to receive it."
