Black McDonald's Operators Association assembles school supply kits

Some local fast food restaurant owners are serving up school supplies later this week.

Members of the Black McDonald's Operators Association of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana assembled the supply kits. They'll begin handing them out at various McDonald's restaurants in Chicago later this week.

The first event is on Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the McDonald's at 3200 West Roosevelt Road.
