2 shot, 1 critically injured on Far South Side

Chicago police said two people were shot and one of them critically injured on Chicago's Far South Side Thursday evening.

Police said the two men were shot just after 7 p.m. in the 10200-block of South Malta Street.

Officials said a teenager was shot multiple times in the abdomen and taken to Christ Medical Center in critical condition. A second man suffered a graze wound to the head.

The immediate circumstances of the shooting were not clear. Chicago police are investigating.
