Boy, 15, injured in West Garfield Park shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old boy on Friday.

He was shot in the abdomen in a vacant lot near Maypole and Karlov avenues in Chicago's West Garfield Park neighborhood around 11 a.m. Friday.

The teen was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but his condition has stabilized.

No one is in custody.
