Wife dies after husband shoots her, self in New Jersey hospital, police say

STRATFORD, N.J. -- Investigators say a woman has died after her husband shot her, then himself, inside a hospital room in Stratford, New Jersey.

The shooting was reported around 10:12 a.m. Wednesday in a second floor room in Kennedy University Hospital on East Laurel Road.

Police say the husband is still alive and was flown to Cooper University Hospital.

His exact condition was not immediately known.

The Prosecutor's Office said it was working to gather more information.
