CHICAGO (WLS) -- Findings of a new report show African-Americans are pulled over more often in Chicago than white residents.
Of the more than 100,000 traffic stops made by Chicago Police in 2013, 45.9 percent were black motorists, according to the American Civil Liberties Union, far more than their percentage of the population in 2010, which stands at 32.4 percent.
In a statement, the Chicago Police Department says it, "expressly prohibits racial profiling and other bias based policing."
