CHICAGO (WLS) -- The November election is barely a memory and we're already focusing on Chicago's next election in February.
That's when voters will choose leaders in a number city offices, including mayor.
There are 10 candidates who could potentially be on the ballot; many of their petitions are being challenged right now.
Among them, current Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who officially kicked off his re-election bid Saturday on the Near West Side's Cinespace Soundstage.
Emanuel says he running again because there is more work to be done.
