CHICAGO (WLS) -- A local non-profit is reaching a national audience with the help of a few new tools. The Bright Pink organization focuses on prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women. Using a new Assess Your Risk tool, they hope to reach 52 million young women in the United States between ages 18-45. The tool helps young women learn about risk factors and offers screening advice.
Carli Feinstein, chief of staff of Bright Pink, stopped by the ABC 7 studios to show us how it works.
