Chicago Community Trust to host 'On the Table' discussions

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Community Trust is celebrating its 100th year by bringing back the popular On the Table event. On the Table brings together Chicago-area residents in small groups to share a meal and discuss ways they can work together to make our communities stronger, safer and more dynamic.

In 2014, more than 11,000 Chicagoland residents took part in On the Table and shared their ideas on how to make the region better. The 2015 On the Table takes place on Tuesday, May 12.

President and CEO of the Chicago Community Trust, Terry Mazany, sat down with ABC 7 to talk about the upcoming event.
