Chicago Lighthouse to host annual gala

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Lighthouse is honoring members of the community who support those living with disabilities in a "Seeing What's Possible Dinner." The event takes place on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Drake Hotel in Chicago. This year's honorees include U.S. Representative Danny Davis and ABC 7 Chicago. All dinner proceeds will benefit The Lighthouse's world-class programs assisting individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

Bill Jurek, with the Chicago Lighthouse, visited the ABC 7 studios to show us what this year's gala has in store.

Regular tickets are $350 per person or $3,500 for a table of ten
