Rainbow PUSH Coalition to host annual convention in Chicago

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Rainbow PUSH Coalition and Citizenship Education Fund is getting ready for their annual International Convention in Chicago - Silicon Valley to LaSalle Street: Life Beyond the Edmund Pettus Bridge.

The convention brings community leaders from around the world to discuss economic justice, voting rights and education issues. The convention will also feature workshops, panels and discussions on the representation of minorities in the tech-industry workplace.

Rainbow PUSH Coalition Founder, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr., talked about the importance of the convention live on ABC 7.
