The College Football Playoff selection committee announced its latest Top 25 rankings on Tuesday night. The top four remains unchanged from the previous rankings: No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Notre Dame and No. 4 Clemson.

Perhaps the biggest takeaway is the noticeable absence of a Big Ten team near the current top four. The Wisconsin Badgers are the closest team to cracking into the elite group, coming in at No. 8 this week. The Badgers have the potential to complete an undefeated season, but time will tell if a clean sheet will be enough to secure them a spot in the playoff.
