3-semi crash slows traffic on Jane Addams near Rt. 47

The Jane Addams Tollway around Route 47 in the middle of a construction zone saw a three-semi crash Thursday that had all lanes blocked on the outbound side for awhile.

On the inbound side, one lane was closed because of debris. Multiple ambulances responded to the 6:30 a.m. crash. Most lanes reopened by 8:30 a.m.

One person was taken to Sherman Hospital in northwest suburban Elgin with minor injuries, police said.
