Retired ABC7 reporter Frank Mathie recognized by Leukemia Research Foundation

SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- Retired ABC7 reporter Frank Mathie was recognized by the Leukemia Research Foundation during their annual awards ceremony Sunday afternoon in Skokie.

The Foundation recognized Mathie for his 22 years of service as Honorary Co-Chairman of the ABC7 Gibbons 5K Run and 3K Walk.

ABC7 Chicago President and General Manager John Idler and reporters Janet Davies and Dionne Miller were also in attendance. Davies served as Co-Chair with Mathie for 22 years. Miller is the current Honorary Co-Chair of the run and walk.
