Wrigley reaches settlement over Eclipse gum

Chicago chewing gum maker Wrigley has agreed to pay up to $7 million to settle a lawsuit regarding its Eclipse gum.Consumer groups filed a lawsuit last year charging Wrigley made misleading ad claims about the germ-killing properties of Eclipse.

As part of the settlement, Wrigley will also change how it markets and labels the gum.
