Lucy Lu and her puppies were taken from the Koehmstedt Kennel last Thursday. The West Highland Terrier belongs to the Graff family. They say they're heartbroken because Lucy Lu is a living memory of their teenage son who died suddenly in 2009, just a few months after the dog was purchased.
The kennel's owner says a door to the business had been left unlocked and the thieves apparently knew where the puppies were.
