The relatives of a northwest Indiana SeaWorld trainer who was drowned by a killer whale are honoring her memory by helping out some of her favorite causes.

Dawn Brancheau of Cedar Lake died last year when a whale dragged her underwater. Her relatives created a foundation in her name. On Sunday, the foundation held its first event -- a walk called Dream Big.

The money raised from the event in Merrillville, Ind., benefits several causes including the Boys and Girls Club and Dog Park in Schererville, Ind.
