CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services are investigating the death of a 1-year-old boy found unresponsive in the city's Rogers Park neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.

Police said they were called to the 1500-block of West Pratt Street around 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 30 for an unresponsive child. The baby was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Initial autopsy results were inconclusive pending further study. The investigation by both Chicago police and DCFS is ongoing.
