Juvenile killed, 2 others shot in NW Indiana home, sheriff's office says

PORTER COUNTY, Ind. (WLS) -- Police are investigating a shooting that killed a boy and injured two other young people on Saturday.

The shooting happened at about 11 p.m. at a home in the 1700-Block of Liberty Avenue, Pine Township, according to Porter County Sheriff's Police.

A male juvenile died in the shooting, police said.

His identity and age were not disclosed.

An 18-year-old woman and another male juvenile were also shot. Police did not say their conditions.

Police said it was believed to be an isolated incident.

No other information was available.
