Power restored in Bedford Park after truck fire

BEDFORD PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- Power was restored in southwest suburban Bedford Park after a truck hit utility lines and burst into flames in the 6600-block of South Nashville Avenue.



According to reports from the scene, the driver was critically injured and taken to Christ Hospital. Bedford Park police have not yet commented on the incident.



ComEd officials said nearly 110 customers lost power early Wednesday morning. But crews had the electricity back on by around 5 a.m.
