Chicago is playing host to some of the brightest thinkers, innovators, and world changers during the 6th Annual Chicago Ideas Week.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago is playing host to some of the brightest thinkers, innovators, and world changers during the 6th Annual Chicago Ideas Week. The program features more than 150 events October 17 - 23, 2016 on topics ranging from refugees to comedy, to policing. More than 30,000 attendees from Chicago, the Midwest and across the world are expected to attend and can anticipate diverse hands-on demonstrations, neighborhood tours, live music and more from some of the world's most accomplished individuals

Some of the features speakers during this year's Chicago Ideas Week are FIFA World Cup Champion Abby Wambach, Former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Robert Rubin, Academy Award-Winning Film and Television Producer Brian Grazer, and ABC News Chief Legal Affairs Anchor Dan Abrams.
