Former 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick celebrates birthday by helping homeless in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick celebrated his 32nd birthday by helping the homeless in Oakland.

Pictures and video were posted on the Instagram account for Kaepernick's Know Your Rights foundation.

Kaepernick handed out backpacks and toiletries to the homeless. He also hired a San Francisco food truck to feed people.
