DIXMOOR, Ill. (WLS) -- A settlement was reached in the case of the "Dixmoor Five," the men wrongly convicted of killing 14-year-old Cateresa Matthews.
She was raped and murdered in November 1991. Five suspects- all teenagers at the time- were convicted of her death. But their confessions were coerced and in 2011, they were freed. The men filed a lawsuit.
On Wednesday, their lawyers will announce a settlement with one of the defendants, the Illinois State Police.
