Third person arrested in East Side murder of retired police officer Elmer Brown

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police have arrested a third person in connection with a deadly home invasion of a retired Chicago police sergeant in the city's East Side neighborhood.

Officers have not released the name of the suspect they arrested.

Police say three people broke into Elmer Brown's home on March 10. Brown was shot during the home invasion and later died.

Jesse Kazmierski, 18, and Jeremy Mendez, 16, have already been charged in the case.
