Britney Spears is looking ab-solutely fantastic on the new cover on Women's Health magazine, but some say the pop star's face is almost unrecognizable in the image.

Spears sports a sherbet-colored bikini and black blazer in the shot, but while her toned torso is prominently featured, it's her slim nose that has people talking.

While it would be easy to blame overly aggressive Photoshopping, TMZ reports sources involved with the photo shoot as saying Spears' look is the result of contouring -- a makeup technique that enhances facial structure.

In the magazine, Spears discusses how she maintains her enviable physique.

"After I had Jayden, it was real easy for me to get back in shape," she told the magazine's January/February 2015 issue. "But five years later, I started noticing changes in my body. My hips are a little bit wider because I've had kids. So it was crucial for me to be continuous with my exercise. Consistency is key."

The January/February 2015 issue of Women's Health hits newsstands Dec. 23.
