Chance the Rapper announces Taste concert

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Taste of Chicago starts Wednesday and there's word of a special concert.

Crews have been busy Tuesday night setting up for the big food festival in Grant Park, and Chance the Rappe tweeted out that he will take the stage Wednesday.

The hip hop artist posted he will perform at 5 p.m. on the festival's opening day. He was not previously scheduled to perform.

The Taste runs through July 10.
