Man found dead inside car in Ferguson, near location of Michael Brown shooting, police say

FERGUSON, Mo. (WLS) -- A man was found dead in a vehicle near where 18-year-old Michael Brown was fatally shot in Ferguson, Mo., according to St. Louis County police.

They received a call around 9 a.m. Tuesday from someone who saw an unresponsive man inside a parked car in the 9400-block of Glen Owen Drive near Windward Court. Officers found the man dead inside the car.

Police have not released any information about the man, who owns the vehicle or what happened leading to the discovery of the body.

St. Louis County Crimes Against Persons detectives are investigating the death as suspicious.
