Fifth Star Awards honor city's artists, art institutions

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Talk of adding a fifth star to Chicago's flag inspired the name of a new award given out on Wednesday night.

The Fifth Star Awards recognize some of the city's best known artists and art institutions.

The first-ever recipients of this award are Lou Conte, Richard Hunt, Ramsey Lewis, Lois Weisberg and the Auditorium Theatre.
