Man allegedly threatened to shoot Crystal Lake police officer in rap video

LAKE IN THE HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- A rap video could put a northwest suburban Lake in the Hills man behind bars.

Gerard Golston is charged with threatening to shoot a police officer. He's scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

Investigators say that in a video posted on Facebook, Golston raps about a specific Crystal Lake police officer and his intent to shoot him.

A warrant for his arrest was issued Friday, and Golston turned himself into police Sunday.
