CHICAGO (WLS) -- The 2015 Walk MS, a fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, is coming to several sites across Illinois on Sunday, May 3.
The walk - which includes more than 600 locations nationally - will come to Illinois with locations in the following areas:
Bloomington
Chicago lakefront
Southwest suburbs
McHenry County (Lake in the Hills)
North Shore (Glenview)
Northwest suburbs (Hoffman Estates)
Peoria (on Sept. 13)
Rockford
St. Charles
South Suburbs (Orland Park)
Springfield
Urbana (Sept. 13
West Suburbs (Naperville)
The courses range from 1 to 5 miles, and more than 1,200 volunteers will be at each site. Nationally, the walk draws more than 200,000 walkers and 45,000 volunteers. In Illinois, Walk MS raised more than $2.7 million in 2014.
