Highland Park issues temporary outdoor water ban

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- The city of Highland Park issued the temporary ban for all outdoor water, including lawn sprinklers.

The ban is due to clogged strainers at the Highland Park water treatment plant.

The city says it is working to unclog the strainers and will lift the ban once the problem is fixed.
