House music DJ talks Chicago House Party celebration

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago is celebrating house music, which was born in the city.

DJ Julius the Mad Thinker and David Chavez, founder of Sound Culture, stopped by ABC 7 to talk about the history of house music as well as the celebration happening Saturday at Millennium Park.

The Chicago House Party kicks of Saturday at 2 p.m. and will have a full day of live performances. Admission for the event is free.
