Two rallies are planned against the planned Illiana Expressway Saturday.
Opponents are gathering at both ends of the 47-mile toll road that would run between Illinois and Indiana.
They're expected to bring tractors, trucks and horses, and meet in the middle of the proposed expressway Saturday afternoon.
Supporters say the project will relieve traffic, opponents say it is unnecessary.
The expressway cleared another hurdle Thursday, when a regional planning organization voted not to scrap it.
