CHICAGO (WLS) -- The wife of a Chicago high school employee is suing the operators of the truck that struck and killed him.
Jeffrey Komada was involved in a chain reaction crash in April on the Tri-State Expressway. After helping a woman and her 4-year-old daughter to safety, he was hit by a semi and died.
In her lawsuit, Komada's wife says the truck driver failed to keep a proper lookout and was driving too fast for conditions.
Komada was the head of the technology department at Taft High School.
