Man shot, killed in Burnside: police

A man was found shot to death on the city's South Side, Chicago police said.

A 39-year-old man was found inside a home in the 800-block of E. 89th Place in the Burnside neighborhood on Sunday.

Chicago police said the man was found at about 6:27 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

He died at the scene.

CPD detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.

No one is in custody.

2 shot at Bridgeport gas station, CPD says

Two people were shot at a South Side gas station on Sunday, Chicago police said.

The shooting happened in the 2700-block of South Wentworth at about 3:05 a.m.

A man, 26, and woman, 38, were sitting in a car at a gas station when shots were fired.

Each sustained a gunshot wound to the hand; they are expected to be okay.

It is unknown where the gunfire came from.

Man shot while walking in Roseland, police say

A man was shot while walking on the city's South Side, according to Chicago police.

The 29-year-old man was walking near Wentworth and 111th Street in Roseland when gunshots were fired.

The man told police he heard the gunfire then felt pain. He was shot in the left wrist.

He was treated by Chicago firefighters and taken to the hospital. He is expected to be okay.

No one is in custody.

Shooting victim dropped off at Roseland Hospital: CPD

A man was dropped off at a hospital on the city's South Side on Sunday morning.

A 20-year-old man was dropped off at Roseland Hospital at about 3:45 a.m., Chicago police said.

He had two gunshot wounds in the abdomen and was listed in critical condition.

It is unknown where the shooting happened.

No one is in custody.
