NW Indiana woman accused of 'huffing' while pregnant

PORTER CO., Ind. (WLS) -- A pregnant woman from northwest Indiana is facing felony neglect charges for harming her unborn son.

Mariah Warner is accused of inhaling toxic vapors, known as "huffing."

A Porter County sheriff's officer was serving Warner an arrest warrant stemming from a July incident of huffing.

Authorities say the officer looked through her window and witnessed Warner inhaling toxic vapors, then passed out.

Warner is six months pregnant and has an admitted addiction.
