New program brings attention to crime, public safety across DuPage County

A new group in DuPage County is designed to raise awareness about crime and public safety.

The group is called Safe DuPage and it was created by Naperville City Councilman Kevin Coyne.

The group will hold town halls and rallies to discuss subjects including gun violence, social equity and marijuana stores.

A website for the group is under construction.
