CHICAGO (WLS) -- The city of Chicago is preparing to welcome undocumented immigrant children.
City officials and local organizations are searching for sites to house hundreds of beds. Tens of thousands of children from Central America have been arriving in the U.S. since October.
While some cities around the U.S. have protested their arrival, Mayor Rahm Emanuel says this is who we are as a city.
Mayor Emanuel say the city is also setting up a program to provide free legal services to the children.
