CHICAGO (WLS) -- Richard Newburger, 57, was one of three people arrested at a Ferguson protest in Chicago's Loop on Wednesday. He was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer.

Newburger, of the 2300-block of North Spaulding Avenue, and two 63-year-old women were arrested during a small protest at State Street and Jackson Boulevard on Wednesday afternoon.

Both women face misdemeanor charges for blocking traffic. One of the women faces an additional misdemeanor charge for resisting arrest.

The local demonstration protested a grand jury's decision not to indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson in the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown, who was unarmed when he was fatally shot in Missouri in August.
