SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Zoo is welcoming a new addition to their family, a baby rhinoceros.
This black rhino was born six days ago at the zoo's Safari Park.
The male calf is sticking close to his mother, getting used to his new surroundings in the exhibit.
This is the 15th black rhino to be born at the zoo.
The birth is significant because the black rhinos are a critically endangered species.
There are only about 5,000 left in the wild.
