CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police have released new details into the investigation of a double homicide in Sycamore, Ill. earlier this month.
Patricia Wilson, 85, and her son Robert, 64, were found beaten to death August 15.
Friday, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office released a timeline, indicating the two were killed August 14.
It happened sometime after 7:45 p.m. when Patricia talked with a relative on the phone and before midnight when video shows the victims' stolen car being driven on Route 64 in West Chicago.
Investigators are not yet releasing that video.
The car was recovered in Chicago near Lincoln Park Zoo.
There is a reward of $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons or persons responsible for the crime.
