CHICAGO (WLS) -- The woman who stalked Cubs president Theo Epstein has pleaded guilty but mentally ill.

Prosecutors say Kathleen Kearney, of Massachusetts, tried to contact Epstein several times when he was with the Boston Red Sox.

She was then charged with felony stalking when she flew to Chicago and tried to visit him at his North side home.

She is sentenced to 24 months probation, during which she will be under GPS monitoring and go through mental health treatment.
