Habitat for Humanity volunteers build homes for Chicago families on Mag Mile

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Habitat for Humanity volunteers are building more than a dozen homes at the top of the Magnificent Mile for deserving families.

About 400 volunteers are building 13 houses at Pioneer Court Plaza through Sunday, as part of the "Raise Your Hand Chicagoland" project.

The homes will eventually be moved into communities across the area, where they will be finished and given to local families to call their own.
