LOWELL, Ind. (WLS) -- Police raided a dog rescue in northwest Indiana, where animal control workers removed two dead dogs and 10 living ones from a kennel at the Paws-Here Foundation in Lowell.

Lake County police say they executed a search warrant on the property and discovered animals that were malnourished and flea infested.
Investigators say animal neglect charges could soon be filed in the case.
