Body found near woods in suburban Harvey, police say

HARVEY, Ill. (WLS) -- Police say a body has been found near the Cook County Forest Preserve in the south suburbs Saturday afternoon.

A couple discovered the body near some woods on South Loomis in suburban Harvey and called police.

The Cook County Sheriff's department is working to identify the male victim and determine how he died.
