CRETE TOWNSHIP, Ill. (WLS) -- A person of interest is in custody as police investigate a triple homicide in Crete Township Monday morning, the Will County Sheriff's Office said.
At about 2 a.m., the sheriff's office received a call for a welfare check for a home in the 3400-block of Norway Trail.
Deputies arrived on the scene and found the bodies of two men and a woman, the sheriff's office said.
They were the bodies of a 32-year-old man and his parents, a 55-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, the sheriff's office said. They all lived at the home, police said.
A person of interest is in custody and charges are pending, the sheriff's office said.
The 30-year-old woman was found in Indiana, police said.
The sheriff's office said the incident appears to be domestic in nature and there is not a threat to the public.
Autopsies will be conducted soon, and identities of the victims will be released from the Will County Coroner's Office.

The Will County Sheriff's Office has been outside the home all day Monday.
Neighbors reported hearing gunfire.
"All those light, police knocking on doors, very scary, you don't know what's going on," neighbor Shayla Drosos said.
"Numb, I feel like I'm in the middle of a horror story. They were just over here yesterday, all three of them. And we were hanging out," neighbor Jennifer Brown said.
The Browns said the couple and one of their sons were helping them install new flooring over the weekend.
"They were in our house yesterday, all three of them. Now, they are gone, and I'm not an emotional person. But something like that hits home," Jim Brown said.
The family had a beloved dog that survived.
Friends came to take the dog, but it wouldn't leave the home.
Eventually, Will County Animal Protection Services was able to coax it out.
Those close to the family say the couple's grandchildren lived at the home, but were not there overnight.
