1 killed, 1 injured in Hillside crash

HILLSIDE Ill. (WLS) -- One person was killed and another injured in a crash in Hillside Thursday morning, police said.

The crash occurred at about 5 a.m. on Mannheim Road.

Police said a car driven by a 22-year-old man was traveling northbound on Mannheim when it struck another car in an intersection.

The 22-year-old man was killed in the crash, police said. A person in the other vehicle was transported to Elmhurst Hospital, and their condition was not known.
