2 dead in Bellwood, fire officials say

BELLWOOD, Ill. (WLS) -- Two people were pronounced dead in Bellwood Monday morning the Bellwood Fire Department said.

Fire officials said two adults were removed from a home in the area of the 1000-block of 32nd Avenue and transported to Loyola Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

A heavy police presence was reported in the area.

The Bellwood Police Department and the West Suburban Major Crime Task Force are investigating.

Further details on the circumstances of the deaths were not immediately available.
