2 men arrested after Chicago mother caught in crossfire, killed during birthday trip to New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (WLS) -- Two suspects are in custody in connection with a Chicago woman's shooting death in New Orleans.

Jessica Williams, 33, was fatally shot on Bourbon Street over the weekend. She was mother of two.

Police say one man was taken into custody on Tuesday morning in connection with the shooting.

A second suspect is in the hospital after being shot himself.

Police say the two men fired shots at each other, and Williams was an innocent bystander.
